The 2011-2012 school year is going to be over pretty soon, and if you are a high school senior, that means you only have a few months until you graduate! What are you going to do after that? It can be a scary thought. How are you going to pay for college? Paying for college is the biggest challenge that most students have after they finish school. For the young mothers, scholarships for moms are the only way you can afford to go to college. Fortunately, there are scholarships for high school seniors class of 2012 that are still available.

I want to be real with you. It seems like only the best and the brightest students of every class get scholarships. If you are not one of the few students who got straight A’s in every class and was involved in every other club in the school, then you may feel like you’ll never get a scholarship. I knew one girl in high school who never missed a day of school. She was in the top five in the class in grades, and she was involved in 15 different clubs, sports and organizations. People like that can go to school wherever they want, but for the rest of us, there is still college money available for school.
So what are you going to do after high school? Do NOT go and get a job. The truth is that most employers don’t want to hire an 18 year old just graduating from high school. Unless you want to work in the fast food industry, I suggest you start looking in other places. You could apply for the $10,000 military scholarship. You do not have to join the military for this contest. This is an easy scholarship that anyone can win. If you are a young mother, you could apply for a $10,000 free scholarship for moms that young mothers can win. There are many scholarships for high school seniors class of 2011 that are available. Make sure you apply for as many scholarships as possible. You will have a much better chance of getting money for college if you apply for a lot of scholarships!
